ఒకప్పుడు రాజేశ్వరీ విలాస్ కాఫీ క్లబ్ అనే విజయావారి చిత్రం వచ్చింది. మాథ్యూ అనే క్రైస్తవుడు ముత్తయ్యదీక్షితులు అనిపేరు మార్చుకొని శేషాద్రి అయ్యరుగారి హొటల్ లో సెర్వర్ గా చేరి వారి అమ్మాయిని ప్రేమిస్తాడు. నిజానికి ఆ అయ్యరుగారి అసలు పేరు శామ్యూలు. సినిమా చివరకు తెలుస్తుంది. పేరుమార్చుకుని అయ్యరు హోటల్ తెరుస్తాడు. ఇప్పుడు మన జీవితంలో ప్రతిరోజూ పైనుండి క్రిందదాకా ఇవే ఉదాహరణలు. ఒక సారి నేను MBA ఇంటర్వ్యూలు చేస్తున్నపుడు ప్రవీణ్ చక్రవర్తి అనే SC అభ్యర్థి వచ్చాడు. తండ్రిపేరు జాన్ విల్సన్, తాసిల్దారు గారి సర్టిఫికెట్ హిందూమాల. మారెజిస్ట్రార్ వారి సలహా సర్టిఫికెట్ ఏ మనకు ముఖ్యం. వాళ్ళ పేర్లు వాళ్ళ ఇష్టం. ఢిల్లీ నుండి పల్లె దాకా ఇదే పద్ధతి.

But 'career" is a part of life only not entire life !!!!Vvs Sarma Even religious label is like a political party which can be changed at convenience and the Hindu label is the cheapest among the lot. Saudi Arabia is a tribal country. They do not allow a Hindu to take an icon or a religious book into their country for personal use. They pour money to construct mosques in India. Such a country is a blot on the world culture.Buddhavarapu Venkateswara Rao Saudi Arabia is an Islamic state .Islamic states won't recognise or allow practice of other religious or any religious festivals openly . One may do it in his home only. But even then they recognised the difference between religious /cultural views and education ! They try to take benefit out from the modern education !But here in India we are seeing arguments to go back to the indigenous edu. system which is harmful and keeps us away from the rest of the world. now our Indians are working in NASA .Will they afford to go if the scenario is changed ???

Vvs Sarma There is now nothing like an indigenous education system. To go back to a non-existent one is meaningless. What is needed is an education system with a nationalist outlook. There are good things in our vast literature, our linguistic diversity is a a blessing. Linguistic states have killed languages in less than 60 years. Most of "Our Indians" working in the USA in high places are "Their citizens born in India". They are like Hindu converts to Islam and Christianity of no great use to Hinduism.Buddhavarapu Venkateswara Rao Thank you very much you agreed that we have to change on par with times. But of course not you but some are arguing to back to the olden times that I am differ with . There are some universal humans who are not bounded/ confined to any religious/ society. Such people exists in the western world also like Galileo Copernicus ....... who have sacrificed their lives by opposing the views of the then predominant Christian society . The Indians who have settled in the US occupying highest positions are those who have migrated to the US before 1970's only. It's a narrow approach to expect the Indians in the US to work as ambassadors to Hinduism . But it was done by the Christian missionaries whom we often confuse with the administrators. Perhaps there may be some persons who might have lacked professional ethics helped the missionaries , but not all. In Christianity you are member of a church - Roman Catholic, CSI, Baptist, Methodist etc.The Catholic church is even more notorious. But they have the resources to fight the political battles. None belong to a Hindu Peetha or a temple. You visit them and the temples, you do not belong to them. They have no where-with-all to represent your socio-political interests. They can only give a pravachanam and do nothing more.Vvs Sarma I agree with you. They did not patronize Christianity as state religion but at individual level things were different. Missionaries were supported at that level. Penetrating into education and health fields was really the long term strategy of conversions.Buddhavarapu Venkateswara Rao I recollect here ' "నరజాతి చరిత్ర సమస్తం పరపీడన పరాయణత్వం" శ్రి శ్రి ' Even during the first 10 centuries before the Muslims entered in India saivas fought over a supremacy over Buddhism and after that both Saivas and Vaishnavas fought within them for supremacy and during this process they even influenced some kings to follow their sects and kingdoms in S.India were almost divided among them !!!Vvs Sarma Yes, there was no religion called Hinduism, Saivam Vaishnavam, Bauddham, Jainam, Sakteyam and even Charvakam etc They were all called Darsanas. These are view points or to some extent axiomatically different logical systems. Trouble out of proportion came when rigid dogmatic systems of Islam and Christianity with the firm stand that they alone are true. The level of division with Abrahamic religions is of a different order. In the world also the percentage is same.
