Secularized Hinduism – is an oxymoron being spread by morons, including globe-trotting Mahatmas with Multinational empires - Rajiv Malhotra

The word itself has no meaning like hare’s horn. People mistakenly interpret the availability of multiple paths to salvation as including the goals of other religions such as Abrahamic religions as being paths to salvation. This is explained as the basis for another oxymoron about the much publicized virtue of Hinduism “Hindu Tolerance.” The paths to salvation (mukti, moksha) are only the various paths of Sanatana dharma described by Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita such as Sankhya Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga etc. Some Modern Gurus float logos displaying along with Pranava (Aum), crescent moon, cross, fire, etc. This is a total misinterpretation. The goal of other religions is only eternal heaven or Jannat (Jannah) or some sort of paradise, similar to Svarga-loka. For Hindus, even Naraka is a higher world (Urdhva loka) on the path of evolution and progress and not a nether world. Christ consciousness is not the same as Krishna consciousness. Hinduism misinterpreted, is not Hinduism. Secularizing it makes no sense and it is making a hotchpotch of all religions.
