ISRO chief visits Tirupati temple ahead of satellite launch

Every time India launches a satellite, our shameless media publish a news item.

ISRO chief visits Tirupati temple ahead of satellite launch, Press Trust of India | Sunday February 24, 2013, Ahead of the launch of the Indo- French satellite 'SARAL' onboard ISRO's workhorse rocket PSLV from Sriharikota, ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan today offered worship at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara near Tirupati.
All electronic and print media carry it with their stupid opinions about secularism, about belief of Indian scientists in the supernatural etc. Pseudo intellectuals go several steps further in criticizing Radhakrishnan. One says, for even failed missions Radhakrishnan prayed to God. Hats off to his stupidity – USA says in God we trust, not Yehova. UK says that the queen is defender of faith. India must defend all faiths, that is secularism.
Please understand – Radhakrishnan is a Hindu; Government and ISRO have to be secular. Any way, Tirupapti is a government temple administered by an IAS officer and a politician chairman. By definition it is secular. That is why Jaffer-Sheriff. Jagan and Sonia also visited. You journalists should talk when YSR does a patently unconstitutional act of subsidizing Bethlehem pilgrimages and for his attempted hill-grabbing at Tirupati.
It may be called a religious belief or probably even superstition to say – YSR perished because of his Tirumala adventure or he perished because he started in Yamaganda time etc.
